Grade 1-10: 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

We will host an online preparation event for the Math Kangaroo on Saturday, March 16th, 2024. During this session, we will practice and prepare for the logistical part of taking the Math Kangaroo online. Parents are encouraged to attend the first 20 minutes of the session to get an idea of how everything will work on testing day.

2024 GAIM CONTEST

Girls’ Adventures in Math is a team-based online math challenge created for girls! Competition questions come in comic form based on the lives of four of history’s greatest women. Girls work together in their teams to solve the problems. There are two levels of competition, each with two rounds of mind-bending problems to solve:

Elementary (grades 3-5) - Round 1 will be 12 questions in 45 minutes
Middle School (grades 6-8) - Round 1 will be 16 questions in an hour

To participate, students must commit to participating in at least 3 out of 4 possible training sessions, with the first training session being mandatory for all. Training sessions will be held online on:

Tuesday, March 26, 2024 - GAIM MEET 2 (7 - 8:30pm)

The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students.

The competition believes that problem-solving helps students to become better mathematicians, better thinkers, therefore better equipped for advanced STEM learning. The goal of the contest is to develop students' problem-solving skills, to encourage their interest in math, and to inspire them to excel in math
